On our first day in San Francisco we walked up the steep Lombard Street on our way to the Aquarium. Lombard Street is the most crooked road in the world. We did not walk up the beautiful, winding road, but we walked the road parallel to it and still were out of breath by the time we got to the top. The hill Lombard Street is on makes a 27° angle, which is why walking up the street was so difficult. San Francisco is known for its steep hills, so I was thrilled that we got to experience one of the steepest!
