On Tuesday the group went to Chinatown. Chinatown in San Francisco is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia and the first Chinatown in North America. Traveling the streets of Chinatown, it was definitely large. At Chinatown, we walked down the streets looking at shops and the various things they sold. We saw many kinds of fruits and vegetables lining the streets. It was so beautiful and unlike anything I had seen before. The streets were crowded and busy and we kept losing each other, but it was such a wonderful experience. We bought apples and oranges and avocados and bananas from markets in Chinatown and ate them for breakfast the next day. The fruit was so great and our experience in Chintatown was so wonderful that we wanted to go back the next day.

"My favorite part of the San Francisco trip was experiencing different cultures. The most drastically different culture we experienced was in Chinatown. There, we found streets clogged with people, stores full to the brim with produce and household items specific to the Chinese culture, and were surrounded by a constant murmur of the Chinese language."- Margaux Winter
