Overall, everybody had a fantastic time in San Francisco. We all enjoyed different aspects of the trip, but one thing was constant: we all had fun.

"Many of the parts of San Francisco we experienced could be found in any big city: busy streets, crammed busses, and tall buildings. Other areas of the city were quieter, those areas felt more suburban, with family-sized houses and lush greenery surrounding the driveway. Although these two sides of San Francisco seem like a stark dichotomy, they seamlessly flowed into one another, creating a patchwork of neighborhoods. From the outside, San Francisco seems like a mess, confusing, and bustling city, and it certainly is that way when using the city transport system. But, if you look more closely, you can find a niche that can cater to your needs and lifestyle. In this way, San Francisco is a diverse and complex city full of a myriad of cultures, people, and places." - Margaux Winter

"My first trip to California was unforgettable. The whole trip was a wonderful and eye opening experience, filled with laughter and great food."- Sophie Walton

"I loved becoming close to everyone on the trip, and I feel like I made great friends as well as a great fruit buddy. I also loved walking everywhere, because though tiring, we were able to see so much of the beauty of San Francisco, and there was much to see."- Adila Islam

"Going to San Francisco over miniterm provided me with some of the most meaningful experiences I've ever had. When I arrived I didn't understand how to use a bus system, or how to navigate streets that I had never encountered. However, after just three days in San Francisco and with the help of Ms. Stefan and my fellow students, I began to feel more confident and capable. I also had the chance to see so many enlightening places, like Alcatraz, the de Young Museum, and the Exploratorium. I'm so happy I chose to participate in this miniterm and am so thankful that I was given such an amazing opportunity!"- Anna Margaret Clyburn

As the miniterm student leader, I'd like to thank all of the students and families for their contributions to this trip. I've spent the last six months planning this miniterm and organizing all of the details, and it means so much to me that you helped to make it happen. I'd also like to thank our faculty sponsor, Ms. Stefan, for her dedication to this trip. She has spent countless hours coordinating with administration and sitting in planning sessions with me, even in the midst of her busy schedule. Thanks again to you all!
